STORY 1: My parents and I had gone to Chicago for a day trip. I had the sudden strong urge to go and visit my uncle. I STRONGLY suggested we go and visit him. My parents gave three reasons not to visit: 1) we were there for only one day. 2) we'd have to go way out of our way. 3) we had more important things to do.
Two weeks later we were at his funeral.
STORY 2: I had a feeling that something unpleasant was going to happen. Somebody dumped a moldy couch on our lawn.
STORY 3: Again I had a feeling that something unpleasant was going to happen. A family friend dumped used and questionable tissues on the lawn and hocked loogies on our garage door ruining the paint.
