Familiars

This is a hard one for me right now since I'm fairly certain my familiar has crossed the vail.

She was a good part of my world as well I hers, and I will greatly miss her.

Every time I turn around I ask myself where's my Shady, then realize she's gone. And I cry. Yes, I cry! Like right now.

I know this, like all things, will pass. That over time I will no longer shed the tears as I currently do. But she'll always hold a special place in my heart and mind, until I join her there myself.

She was a very, very, very special cat to me.

Blessed be my special one, until we meet again.

`I am new to this site. I just read your post n I sympathize completely as I lost my dear Shaggy when he was 19. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think of him n how he slept under the covers with me and other more spiritual things of course. I hope in time you will be sent or find another one that will become as dear to you.

`Gee that was a short membership... would have really loved to have replied to this. Oh well here it goes anyway....

Things really do happen when you have the need.. Yes my Shady is gone from this plane, and she truly was the most beautiful familiar one could have. Yet it so happened there was another just waiting for me. And had been waiting for some time.

Sheba is her name, and like the old queen of the Nile, a queen she truly is. She's just what I needed, in temperment as well beauty. And the most wonderful thing of all is I believe she truly needs me.
