Darksome night... I realize that religion is one of the most personal things anyone can have. People just gravitate to
the beliefs that work/make sense to them. I studied many religions to find one that felt right for me. I learned that people can become very engrossed in the importance of those beliefs.

As I studied the various religions practiced in the US, I was witness to many strange and unusual practices in many different religions. I found them to be so fascinating that I earned a degree cultural anthropology.

I examined many religions to find one that appealed to me. I was not looking when I found the one that seemed best for me. Instead, I was watching people at a reenactment event, many years ago. I was moving from camp to camp well after dark, just looking for what was interesting to see and talk about.

Wandering between camps in a dark forest one night, I found skyclad dancers around a fire. I was invited into the circle and I found my home.

Wicca is not what most people think it is. Referred to as the Craft, Wicca is a nature religion, holding all forms of life to be sacred; all the while, upholding the balance of the circle of life.

For me, the Craft answers questions that other faiths ignore or dismiss as blasphemy. Above all else, I have learned through the Craft to accept and respect the wide diversity of beliefs that people hold dear.
