Spiritual Seeker I have recently developed an interest in Wicca. I have never been comfortable with organized religion because there are too many rules and too much rigidity but Wicca seems to be flexible enough to incorporate a variety of perspectives. Wicca also appears to allow the freedom to just be myself while walking a spiritual path. It just feels more natural than other religions I have encountered. I am interested in Celtic folklore, the Ogham tree alphabet, runes, and fairies, and various methods of divination.
I live with three cats that I adore. I do not have children and do not anticipate having them but I suppose you never know what may happen. However, I do enjoy being with kids. I am a special education teacher who works with preschool children.
My main hobbies are creative writing and reading. I especially like to write poetry. My favorite genres to read are science fiction and fantasy. I enjoy listening to different types of music, as well as teaching myself how to play instruments. I play pennywhistle with a local group each Sunday. I go folk dancing every week.
