Marine & Monk I have came to the faith from an early childhood loving the outdoors. The walls of church made me itchy in southern Tennessee. As a grew up I read everything I could about different religions to find one the "spoke" to me. I felt the energy of myself, the Earth and the animals. I knew they existed. So Wicca felt like home to me. It was a wonderful process to read and practice with Druidry, Egyptain magick, Ceremonial magick, and finally end with a mixture of Paganism under my belt. I was given the nickname Monk, I am not a typical Marine. It has stuck and I like it. After years I now do spells on special occasions but I meditate as often as I can and pray nightly. I celebrate the seasons and the moons. I try very hard to be a modern monk - no drama.
